A lovely image of the male green woodpecker with its characteristic red cheek stripe as well as the red topping (shared with the female). Particularly eye catching is the pronounced bill whose pecking sound gives the bird his name.
Adorable and unique
I like this one, it's quite a colourful, exotic potrayal of far away places, even though they are domestic birds.
